Old Buffalo versus Young Lion

These recent old vs. young boxers fights so far gave intriguing results. Out of 4 of these match-ups, the old bullies took 3 fights while only 1 young lion succeeded in defeating the old buffalo. Only one favorite won a fight, the other 3 fights were huge upsets. Regarding the established trend (only 2 fights ;D ), when a young boxer is the favorite, the old boxer wins the fight... ;)

Anybody with any Boxing knowledge knows Margarito and Pacquiao ain't no young lions. In Boxing years Margarito is about 38. Pacquiao 35.

Yeah we all know about these fights... These are all notable fights and some resulted in upsets but that's not the point here... There are 3 more fights of this type in coming weeks and I expect these 3 fights will produce more intriguing results... Might be very difficult to predict...

We're not talking about boxing years here, I'm referring to natural age... Isn't it Hoya was labeled OLD and shot after PAC annihilated him? So PAC must be the younger boxer or else it's old vs. old...

My predictions of the 3 upcoming OLD vs YOUNG match-ups:

1. Barrera-Khan = still undecided on this one
2. Pitalua- Valero = Valero
3. Peñalosa-JuanMa = Peñalosa

But I will not be surprised if I got the wrong picks... These match-ups are intriguing enough...

Another Old Buffalo versus Young Lion fight this weekend, April 11, 2009. Age gap is 10 years between the 37 year old Winky Wright and 27 year old Paul Williams. I think the young lion Williams is the favorite to win here...
