Britains barrera fans unite
Come on guys i urge you one and all especially to those attending the MEN arena this saturday (lucky sods;D) to get behind a living legend and make manchester a home from home for marco antonio.
I will be in my local saturday night and am pretty sure come fight time it`ll be at least 90% pro barrera anti khan, but marcos gonna need that support inside the MEN and i urge you not to allow your patriotism deter from the fact you`ll be watching a true boxing great taking on someone who has undeservedly been cast into the spotlight!
to the tune of brown girl in the ring....
"Marco Antonio tra la la la la
Marco Antonio tra la la la la la"

So Hatton, you're calling him a girl? :p
Re: Britains barrera fans unite
The Kahn hating will go up even more when he beats MAB. ;)
Re: Britains barrera fans unite
Going by the support for Barrera amongst the "hardcores" i can't wait to hear the crowd reaction in M.E.N
Re: Britains barrera fans unite
Even if it's packed with Khan fans I'm sure the living legend will get the respect he deserves. Don't know if I'm going to stand by my ppv boycott for this one.

I think it's going to be nice and cheery.
Re: Britains barrera fans unite
I've always loved watching Barrera fight and I hope he does us all proud once again. A total legend of the sport.

Considering Enzo and Cook are both in good fights (could both lose) and Pryce-Hall should be good whilst it lasts.. this PPV ain't so bad (all PPV's are bollocks).
Re: Britains barrera fans unite
It would be funny to se Khan KO'd inside a minute again, but I'm actually hoping for a close fight where Khan wins the rounds early at range but Barrera works his way back into the fight for a late stoppage with the entire crowd behind him.

I'd be happy if the bull rushed him and got him out in under a minute a la prime Tyson. It'd be worth the money.
As general ppv's go the card has the potential to be a good one.

For a sky ppv its a solid card but ive definitely seen better before.
Anything with enzo is always gonna be quality and west ham boy nicky cook defending his world title against a tricky south american makes for an interesting night.
But cant help but think had they of perhaps put enzo in with a jonathon banks and perhaps stuck a few of the olympians on there it would of been that bit better

Sky Box Office are poor events now
i remember one PPV had tyson vs holyfield, moorer vs botha & akinwande vs someone & that was just from the states sure it had a good british card before hand something like benn collin, anyone remember? that was defo worth it but they are shite now.

I remember it. The British leg had (boxrec'd it) - Benn-Collins, Winky-Bingham plus Naz, Thompson, Brodie, Williams, Hide, Dunstan and Gomez on the card.
They used to be massive because of Lewis, Tyson or Naz fighting in the States.
Re: Britains barrera fans unite
there's always Audley Harrison:-X
