Years in the making this is the card Aussie boxing fans have been waiting for. Big names who’ve stalked and talked put their reputations on the line at Bad Blood. Proposed undercard (subject to change):
Daniel Geale v Ian MacKillop
International Middleweight Bout
10 x 3
Lenny Zappavigna v Gairy St Clair
IBF Jnr Welterweight Pan Pacific Title
12 x 3
Solomon Haumono v Colin Wilson
Heavyweight
10 x 3
Billy Dib v Davey Brown
WBC Youth Featherweight World Title
IBF Pan Pacific Youth Featherweight Title
10 x 3 "
This time i have the laptop plugged into the power so it wont decide to go to sleep in the final rounds of the main fight. If anyone is interested I can post updates here. I'm looking forward to Davey Brown beating Billy Dib and always like watching the exciting Lenny Zappa and Soloman Houmono. Don't know much about MacKillop, but hopefully Geale can put on a good show. Let me know.
Cheers

Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
O well. Davey Brown V Billy Dib is on now. Should be a good fight.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Wow what a round 1!!! both guys bombing with Dib getting the better of the exchanges but both guys got hit. This is at flyweight and seems to suit Dib.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Round 2 great as well. Bombs from both guys. Drowns eyes swelling and Dib also has an eye opening. This is a good fight so far.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Round 3 another good round both guys fast and giving EVERYTHING Dib gets the round and edges ahead with some big right hands both guys now fighting "old school" the commentators say.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Rnd 4 and Barry Michael reckons Brown should use his reach more and stop walking in so much Dibs hands start to drop, Shane Mosely whos in the commentary team is noticing Dibs hands are now starting to drop. He's had them up all fight till this round. Brown still taking shots though. Round ends with some great flurries from Davey - Round to Dibb according to sugar shane. Browns corner says he got to win every round from now on.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Rnd 5 good start by Davey Fight slows a bit for good reason the pace has been high - a lot of holding and grappling in this round Good round for Davey backs Dib up most of the round untill Dib lands an uppercut to the throat with 1 sec left in the round.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Thanks for the updates Bro... I'll keep on monitoring your thread...
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Rnd 6 of 10 Davey's right eye closing Dib being stalked around the ring but Dib cuts it off well his hands up again and lands a good right followed by a good left by davey Dib seems a bit fitter in this round according to mosely hits brown with 3 rights to end the round but davey stays up and recovers well.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Rnd 7 of 10 - this is quite a good fight Dib looks good at this weight and is keeping his hands up which is good - hitting davey hard now but davey is one tough guy and does not stop coming forward dib is now taking control though brown in trouble as a big cut is opened from a head clash Dr let s it go on both guys UNLOAD and davey has cuts over both eyes - crowd stands in appreciation

Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Excellent stuff, nice one!!
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Rnd 8 Paul Briggs says "Davey Brown looks like he's been hit by a truck" Dib looks to finish the fight brown doest stop though - goes to the Dr and he stops the fight but cant decide which cut to stop it on but finally decides it was from a head clash so it goes to the cards - Dib will win. What a great fight. Mosely likes the fight too. Says it was fought with "great heart".
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Points win to Dib - he actually won this one. This weight seems to suit him.
Re: Anyone else watching the fights in Aus tonight?
Vic Darchinyan there also and interviewed by the commentators. Wants to get titles in 3 or so weight weight divisions.
