HAHAHA v LOL v PMSL v LMAO - who wins and who makes them?

Seems LOL is rapidly becoming a contender for the hahahahaha;D title.

PMSL and LMAO are still about but never seem to be as popular.

So Can LOL muscle out hahahaha (i think it will and i've noticed it being used more and more frequently on here and the avid "Facebooker's love it already) and become the DON of wordplay?

I've never really used PMSL or LMAO. These days I use a combination of HAHAHA and LOL. I will often add a smiley such as ;D or :lol:.

I'm thinking of converting to "loling" but i like the right-left-right-left-right-left speed of hahaha and it feels natural;D

Tell you what i do hate is when people do a sideways smile but type symbols to do it.
I know it ends with a ) for the mouth but have never looked into what else makes up the eyes and nose.

Hate that when people put that in texts or emails.

Yep, they get complicated. On my phone there are some weird combinations of symbols and I have no idea what they are supposed to represent. The most I can deal with is this one :) and maybe this :(

Beyond that it's a minefield.

FML is the one I have been using lately.


But HA HAHAHA is Sal's trademark, as well as the namesake for my favourite board!

LOL is simple, like me.

I invented and currently use SMSL.

I believe SMSL will eventually be number 1. I am also looking into trademarking it so that anytime anyone uses SMSL they have to pay me a dollar.

DIAGF is underused, imo.
