this is an article on him, and here he is thanks to dcamateurboxing
He's twelve or thirteen, and the southpaw.

Reminds me of how Roy Jones Jr looked as an amateur, every other brother has great skills as well, Gary Russell Jr was an olympic candidate and now a pro, Gary Allen Russell is my favorite, he is 18 and fights at 142 in the amateurs, here's some of his stuff, looks like he is in fast forward.

I've mentioned these guys before and started threads, I just think people need to pay attention to these brothers who may rule several weight classes for many years.
Re: Holy shit, Gary Antuanne Russell
Wait, so they're all called some variation on Gary Russell??!
There Dad must be one hell of an egomaniac ;D
Re: Holy shit, Gary Antuanne Russell
Yep there is Junior, Allen, Antonio, Derricke, and Antuanne.
IMO Antuanne will be the best, Derricke and Antonio seem to be the worst, and Allen and Junior are both incredible as well. All of them have ridiculous speed, but IMO none of them were as fast, as slick as Antuanne is age for age.
Re: Holy shit, Gary Antuanne Russell
Nothing overrates a fighter like great hand speed as an amateur. The Russell's all seem to have it. Lets see how many actually succeed in the pros.
Re: Holy shit, Gary Antuanne Russell
They hit hard, they are slick, seem to move well off the ropes. They are hardly just speed, that doesn't cut it anymore in boxing.

Defintely right about Antuanne, but wrong on Allen and Antonio (Tito). Antonio hasn't won nationals until this year, because he didn't go. He won Ringside and PALs this year and you can judge his "loss" in the regional Silver Gloves below. He's a very good boxer. Allen gets tired but that is something easily fixed - you can't teach speed. Allen is a monster too. Allen was favored to win Under-19, but was DQ'd for showing up late to scale, which I didn't think was a problem because if you're late you're supposed to just have to wait until all boxers have weighed in - as long as you're there before scale closes. He is the regional winner in the USA Open Boxing Tournament and will be at Nationals in Denver, CO.Anyhow . . .

Oh and here's one of my favorites, the hardest hitting 13 year old in the US, Kareem Martin. Yes, he just recently turned 13.
