Joan Guzman Vs Juan Manuel Marquez

I think Joan Guzman should go after JMM again. JMM had problems matching up against Chris John and I think Guzman is a better boxer and has a lot power than CJ. I don't think Guzman can knock out Marquez but I think he can out box him.

This fight is one with a good enough draw to lure Marquez out of the lottery where he could actually make some money on PPV. Both fighters are idle. The only problem for Marquez... is he could lose... he rejected Guzman before, and I guess he would just do it again anyway...just thinking about it ;D

Good match up indeed. It'd be like fighting PBF for JMM. But Guzman can't make 135.

i would actually like to see Guzman Vs Valero

Guzman shouldn't be allowed to fight under 140.

One way or another Guzman would find a way not to make the fight happen.

Are you serious? I see JMM but not in 4 rounds, IMO Guzman is a cut above Juan Diaz.

This would be a good fight. I would love to see it happen at 140 with both men stepping up in weight. Guzman gets a lot of stick for the weight and cancellations but he has a lot of skills. Would be a decent fight.

Guzmen is a very good fighter but i think he lacks passion for the sport.

How so? IMO when he gets in the ring he is as exciting as anyone without hte prospect of a knock out, his defense is fun to watch, he throws a ton of big punches. To get his ability takes a lot of dedication and people seem to think he is just naturally as good as he is, but he trains very hard to be as sharp as he is.

Agreed! He couldn't make weight for Nate Campbell at 135 and that was with the supposedly greatest trainer Floyd Sr. in his corner. Way to motivate your fighter Floyd!

I feel he comes in overweigh for the Campbell fight and the fact that he is hardly in the ring its hardly dedicated is it imo.

Once in the ring he is good but he is hardly in the ring.
