Mack vs Lavell Finger

Yusaf Mack made his way back to John Tandy's high altitude camp in lake arrow head Ca to get ready for his next fight. I am informed John Tandy Yusaf's trainner that Yusaf will be fighting Lavell Finger on the undercard of Berto show May 30th.

Mack has been in good spirits and was even higher today when he found out about his opponent.

Mack will be sparring at Freddie Roach's gym on Friday. So if Violent Demise reads this I will make sure you can watch. Feel free to hit me up and I will give you the time.

Good luck. By looking at boxrec, this guy seems designed to make Mack look good in front of a (hopefully) large audience. I can't say it's all that compelling a match up though. Hopefully it sets up bigger things in the future, which I'm sure is the point.

Its a good match up after a great win vs Chris Henry. Im excited that the HBO people will be there to watch.

Oh definitely. Hopefully he wins in impressive fashion and sets up bigger fights for the future.

I'm reading. And let me get the time.

Pretty disappointed in choice of opponent. I think Mack is ready for better oposition. I don't see the 40 years old finger who's coming off a 1st round knock out to be it.

Guys of course we wanted a stronger opponent No TV hurts the budget. It is a showcase to the HBO people.

It makes perfect sense, it's just hard to get all that excited about what should be a relatively uneven contest. I'll be cheering for Mack though, hopefully he doesn't overlook this guy and impresses the HBO brass.
