< TYSON > (New Documentary)
I just finished watching the new Tyson documentary.
I'm giving it;

I thought it was great and it just sucked me right in. It was very in your face and just raw Mike just sits there and just speaks his mind. At times I found myself with my mouth open and or just shaking my head because just when you think you know all about Mike and you've heard it all he goes and opens his mouth.
Through the film, I felt compasion, sorrow, surprised and in the end I was smiling and happy for him. I think I've seen every Mike documentary out there but this is the most raw in your face. This takes you more into the mind of Mike and he just talks more in depth about certain situations that I'm sure all of us have been wanting to know more about.
The way he really expresses himself about Cus and how he just says it raw eventhough it's Cus he just takes you back to the days of when he 1st met him and what he really was thinking at that time and how he felt.
I strongly recommend it to anyone, not just to boxing fans but anyone who knows about Mike and is familiar with him and his life. Some side notes from the film that I thought I'd share.
- Tysons 1st boxing instructor was Bobby Stewart
- Tyson fought with gonorreah vs. Berbick... "I had sex but it must have been a prostitute or a really filthy girl because I contracted gonorreah but I can't even remember who it was... I was embarassed to go to the doctor I just had to endure the pain. The gonorreah didn't bother me"
- "I never took advantage of her, I might have tooken advantage of other women but not her." (On Kerri Washington)
- "He would kill his mother for a dollar" (On Don King)
Re: < TYSON > (New Documentary)
I love when he refers to Kerri as a "wretched swine of a woman" and also refers to Don King as a "reptilian mother fucker"
things got a little weird for me when he was talking about want to have sex with some powerful woman who was a ceo and dominating her sexually.

That's what makes the film great.
It's raw, real and straight from the source.
Re: < TYSON > (New Documentary)
I've had this on my netflix queue for ages. I remember hearing it was finally being released on DVD in april, but i had forgotten about it.
He still denies punching Robin givens and raping that beauty queen. Im inclined to believe him. I've seen a couple preview clips and it seems like he has no qualms about admitting to anything at this point in his life.
Looking forward to watching it! Anything shocking revelations or just things we knew/suspected but in iron mike's words?
Re: < TYSON > (New Documentary)
I really enjoyed this, brilliant and i learnt a lot about my favourite fighter.

Re: < TYSON > (New Documentary)
yeah i saw it and thought it was really good. i was waiting to see the clip when he tells that female reporter that she shouldn't talk unless she was going to fornicate with him but nothing on that. just wanted to hear straight from Mike why he did that. Don't know why he would say something that disrespectful but hey, sometimes Mike went overboard. Other than that part that i was waiting for, it answered alot of questions for me and i thought it revealed alot about the man that some people love and possible just as much, some people hate. Very good doc.

What's good mike?
Ain't talked you for a minute.
Hope your doing well.
As for the Tyson doc. I've been reading nothing but great reviews online so it looks like it's getting thumbs up all around.
Re: < TYSON > (New Documentary)
i always felt Cus's death was the beginning of all his problems, and seriously the way Mike reacted just by talking about him, show's how much this man really did impact him, he kept saying friend, but deep down he sounded more like a son talking about his father, when i think about the whole rape case, amazingly enough i often feel like Tyson is telling the truth, i mean the man already went to prison, he served his time, and yet he still sticks to the same story and completely denies it, says it without flinching, i mean it's true, nobody really knows what happened besides him and Washinton
Re: < TYSON > (New Documentary)
Did you know Mikes lwayers advised him to set up CCTV in his bedroom just incase there were any more acusations.
There were, some old bag tryed accusing him of rape about 10 years ago but the police reviewed the tape and she was told to piss off!
Mike is a gravy train and still is, anything to do with Mike sells.
If Tyson were sat in the front row for Frochs last fight he would have doubled his viewing figures;D

Sup Rob,
yeah i know been gone for a minute but finally back. i was able to get on once in a while but the military comp for some reason blocked out Saddo's so i was able to talk to Killer on Facebook. Saw the doc as soon as i came back and definitely one of the better ones i have seen. hope you have been doing good.

Agree. His excuses for losing to Holyfield are poor really. He was beaten by the better man and that is the top and bottom of it!
Great film though
