should they of held saturdays fight in a bigger arena??
20 odd thousand brits coming over as well as around 10thousand fillipinos did the organisers not contemplate the fact they could make more money selling the tickets cheaper in a far bigger stadium??
im guessing if the face value was around 70-90 dollars in a 50k+ arena this fight would of sold out easily??
Re: should they of held saturdays fight in a bigger arena??
Only problem holding it away from a casino is the money they put into the fight.I under stand your saying 50k tickets with sum cheap tickets will make aload of money but Casinos are the big players when trying to get big fights.
The Thomas and Mack would of been good tho that holds a round 4000 more than MGM.But the MGM on fight day is f**king mint for atmosphere;D
I av my ticket anyway and fly out in the morning would of been anoyef if i never got a ticket.
Re: should they of held saturdays fight in a bigger arena??
yep we been saying this all along from outset - could have sold out wembley
BUT it's all about $$$$$$$$$$$$ and the casinos win hands down every time - shame seeing as though its a Brit v Phillipino
you sure there are 20,000 going over ?? Wouldn't thought there's be that many going over this time given current climate and the fact this is fourth time for Hatton in Vegas (recently anyway)
