What's everyone's plans for Saturday?
Me, i'm going to Coms to watch City beat Blackburn (hopefully), travel back from Manchester just in time to watch El Classico (hopfully), play on Fifa for a couple of hours, have a little kip and tune into the undercard, set am alarm for every 15 minutes between 3:30am-6am and drift in and out of consciousness untill the fight starts.
Whats everyone else doing for the fight?
Re: What's everyone's plans for Saturday?
Me, i got some plans to sit and watch the Gatti Ward trilogy and get right in the mood for a good war. Then my brother is havin a poker match with his mates at his house so headin over there, stick it to em on the table until the fight starts or i've run out of chips.
Can't wait now. Just been to the bookies to put a cheeky bet on. Only £3 per round but we'll see. Hatton to win Rnd 3 and Rnd 10. Good times
Re: What's everyone's plans for Saturday?
The fight isn't on until Sunday lunchtime where I am, so I will most likely get up in the morning and then bounce off the walls waiting for it to start.
Re: What's everyone's plans for Saturday?
Lose a few quid at Newmarket in the afternoon... have a few pints.
Lose a few more quid on the snooker in the evening... have a few pints.
Lose even a few more quid on the boxing during the night... have a few pints.

Re: What's everyone's plans for Saturday?
Get up, pace the house till' 4 pm, lift weights for an hour, then pace the house until fight time. My usual ritual before a fight. I hven't been this anxious since Cotto/Margarito.
So are they expecting alot of Brits to be in Vegas for this one? Ilove the whole atmosphere they bring and that stupid Hatton Wonderland song they always sing at th most ridiculou moments;D My girl watches Hatton fight just for the drunk Brits singing;D

DAMN!!!!! Whatever people say you can't deny the rabid dedication the Brits have for their sporting figures; pretty amazing if you think about it.

I mean hell, people flew over to watch Ricky fight Urango:rolleyes: Either really dedicated or really drunk or both probably.
I'd like to see how many of Mayweather's fans would fly over to England if bysome chance Hatton can ever get a rematch with him to be held in the UK. I bet 5 people would fly over, maybe. Gotta respect the support Ricky gets. He'll need it when he's laying on the canvas Saturday night;D

I wonder if it's a european thing linked in with european football. It's the same sort of fans - pretty much every Man City fan is a Hatton fan - me included. Most proper City fans wouldn't think twice about going abroad to watch city play in europe - financies permitting. Same with most european teams.
Sure america is that one step further but that probably makes it that little bit more exciting.

Re: What's everyone's plans for Saturday?
At moment undecided.
Am trying to find somewhere in Leeds staying open for it - that way I can go out about 1am and be nice and merry for fight time.
If I go out at 7pm and end up getting sluaghtered I increase my chances of sleeping right through the whole show - as I have done 2-3 times in the past....
But I don't want to stay in and just get up about 3.30.
Tough one.......
