Being the biggest/one of Hatton supporters on the site I am truly shocked by what happened last night. Deep down I always thought Hatton would win. But he didn't, life goes on. Credit to Pacquiao, big credit. He looked superb and I never thought he would do that. The saying "Speed Kills" is without doubt true and proved key once again tonight. Congrats to all the Pac fans. Enjoy it.
Is there any chance I could become a Pac groupie ? :D

I have been vocal over these past months and deserve to eat a little humble pie too.
It was shocking and spectacular. Unbelievable in fact. I would never have expected Hatton to crumble like that.

Extremely happy with the return of Floyd though and as I said after the Pac-ODLH fight the fight I want to see is Pac-Floyd. And despite the fact he has beaten both ODLH and Hatton in better fashion than Floyd did, I think we will see Floyd take him apart with his superior boxing brain and great counter skill.
Also I think last night showed just how great a chin Oscar De La Hoya has, because even weight drained seriously he took all the shots Hatton was KO'd with and was never really hurt off one shot alone and quit more from the accumulation that Pac was bombarding him with, so credit to Oscar too!
A devastating victory it was, still in a bit of shock about it. Manny and Roach got it spot on on 2 fronts. They knew they were up to the challenge and they knew EXACTLY how to handle Hatton.
The other side of it Hatton pretty much handed himself on a plate to Pacman.
I read somewhere what next for Pacman and Cotto's name came up, i started to type not a chance Cottos way too big and strong for him but i stopped myself, ive made that claim twice now and got it wrong.

Had Hatton a firm favourite and saw a lot of potentisl outcomes :
- Hatton early
- Hatton late
- Manny by UD or maybe late stoppage
The one I never saw or would have contemplated was the one that happened - am so glad someone didnt offer me a silly head to head bet on that as would have taken it and may have lost my house !
I don't know whats most upsetting the fact he lost or the fact that he was so far out of his league and made to look like an amateur :-\

I think like everybody else I am still in a state of shock.
That was an awesome display of boxing. I can't believe that anyone could do that to another world class boxer. I genuinely thought that Hatton would be able to put Manny of the back foot and push him around but he couldnt get near him.
I could not have been more wrong and you (and Freddie Roach) could not have been more right. That was stunning.
Pacman vs Mayweather next I guess and that could be an all time great fight. Before last night I would have said that Manny had no chance against Floyd but now I truly have no idea who will win that as I don't even know how Floyd would cope with that speed and power.
I will tell you one thing though: No matter what, Pacman would never beat either of the Klitchko brothers - and that is as far as I am no prepared to go (lol).
Congratulations again that was truly amazing.
PS. f I ever want to know what Manny had for breakfast before a fight - you will be the man I'll ask.
Seriously, Floyd who? he thought he could overshadow the fight with his announcement, but Pac is truly a beast, and no.1 p4p for me with or without floyd. He was visibly smaller than Ricky, yet took him out, unbelievable, I thought he'd win late after accumulation.
