A Thankyou To Ricky If He Hangs Em Up.

Ricky Hatton has given me some tremendous nights of boxing, on my own, or with friends and even once with my girlfriend. Maybe one day I can personally thank him for that. He is probably the main reason I became so emerced in boxing and opened the huge door to learn about fighters from all over the world.

Thank you Mr Hatton for that. I'm now in a position where I can seriously enjoy all manner of boxing for the rest of my life.

I've never thought of myself as a big Hatton fan but that being said I've rooted for him for all of his fights except for JLC and Manny. A good fighter, good career, nothing to be ashamed of if he does quit. Bit sad to go out like that but looking on the bright side, if he had been outclassed by Manny and had taken a lot of damage before getting stopped late that would have been much worse for his health long term than what happened last night.
