I thought he was a little rusty in some rounds. But overall he did great because of the ending.
I really wanna see him against Linares or Guerrero. Soto-Valero at 135 is exciting to watch too.

i think he was looking to hard for the KO and trying to put on a good showing but ended up a bit unfocused, i'd love to see Soto Vs JohnQuote:

Agreed with the rushing points.He looked like he was assuming the KO,just hit em hard and the Frenchmen falls at his feet.Wasn't setting anything up,just bombing to head.And really raised eye brows mid way....all of the sudden just looked spent,off balance and laboring a bit.Anyone think it may be the weight,or just a slippery unknown opponent putting on the track shoes ??? At the announcement he was motioning like both hands were hurt.Should Soto go up vs. Antillon..thats my dream fight;D

He was head hunting too much.
What surprised me more then anything was that he didn't jump on Gaudet after the knock down I know it was a bit of a flash knockdown but knowing "La Zorrita" Soto like I know him he's one to go for the kill.

Id say two things: lucky gaudet had no power (as someone already said) and lucky his chin has some resistance. I think he looked like he was trying to hard to impress. He was just looking for the big punch, he wasnt working for it. When ive seen solis fight before, he seems to throw more punches and doesnt just stalk for one big hit. But gaudet certainly landed some on him and if he had a more powerful punch then this could of been a disaster for him. But in the end he was impressive with his knock out victory, nice uppercut i thought.
Soto should of finished him earlier.
The guy he was fighting wasn't a bad boxer though.
I think he did good. He was up against a good boxer who really did not want to engage, and he still took him out.
I think Soto is impatient sometimes. He got problems with guys who moves a lot. We saw that against Guzman, and again with Gaudet.
