Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
Do you guys think he is that good ? Can he go a lot further in the Light-Welterweight divison ?
Re: Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
No not overated IMO... havent seen the Cherry or Holt fight. but seen all i needed to in the Witter fight to know hes the future of the division.
Re: Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
Bradley is not overated. If anything he is underated imo.
Bradley is fundamentally sound, good defence, good handspeed, deceiving power, top notch chin, good workrate. He is the full package imo.
He also has good wins over Witter and Holt and is willing to fight anyone.
I think he will be the best at that division in a few years time.
Re: Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
I don't think he is spectacular but he will be a handful for anyone around that weight. I have seen him against Witter and Holt and I think he is a pretty decent champ and it will take alot to beat him.
Would love to see him fight Witter again....because I do believe Witter was not 100% and the return could be a potential fight of the year.
Job Biscuit (Thats what I think)!!!
eh eh!!
Re: Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
In no way over rated, I don't think he has reached his potential yet,
He showed in the Holt fight he can take a shot and survive, He has decent power, he shows he can adjust mid fight and has versatility, defense is shaky at times but getting better.....
Plus he is only 26 I think.....
Nice guy on top of it....I think he is a major player in the division for years to come....If he shed a bit of muscle hwe could be a force at 135
Re: Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
backed up everything he has said so far.
very compact fighter that works behind the jab and can dominate at 140 once hatton leaves and pac moves back through the weights!
Re: Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
Nah...unfortuanatly Bradley as of yet is not even a household name in his own household. Not overrated by any means and has been showing constant improvement. He turned a major corner vs Holt fight. That shot he was hit with in the first round was the kind that keeps lesser fighters on the mat.He rose, adjusted and took the victory.
Now the WeBeClassless.....has seen fit to strip his trinket because of not meeting Devon Alexander in next go.Bradley is a very class guy,and I think he'll stick around.Does not shine in any one certain area but very solid in all.A solid foundation to build on.

Bradley beats Hatton at this stage.
Hatton should call it a day to be honest.

Why are you mentioning your arse
I talking about a Hatton - Bradley matchup. :p
If Lazcano can rock Hatton Bradley can do much worse imo.

I was loving this match up.I dont know what Hatton has planned, but I too,at this point would favor Bradley by a smidge.Bradley is resiliant with constant workrate, and can get rough on inside as well :-X.Hatton has a long road back off of such a devestating KO.

when did that happen?
Losing to manny pacquiao doesnt mean you automatically go from the best fighter in your division to getting beat by the 2nd-3rd best.
hatton would own bradley at 140 pounds!

Totally disagree. If Bradley fought Hatton, his best bet would be to try and school Hatton over twelve. To be honest, if Bradley was to study how Hatton telegraphs his punches, it isn't beyong the realm of possibility that he could do that. I think Bradley vs. Malignaggi would be an excellent boxing match down the line.

It happened twice. In the 8th and 10th rounds.
In round 8 He was caught with a short left hook on the inside and held on for dear life. Lazcano upped his workrate and was able to hurt him again but Hatton held on.
In round 10 hatton lunged in and was caught with a left hook that made his leg buckle, Hatton again held on for dear life.
Here is a video for proof:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQFHos5jBoA
Round 8: it occurs at the 1:16 in the round and continues on till the :45 second mark in the round.
Round 10: it occurs at the 1:14 mark in the round. He is clearly hurt by that shot.
If you think otherwise you are delusional.
Now If a fighter like Lazcano can hurt Hatton, Imagine what a guy faster, stronger and better fundamentally would do. Hatton can't stop Bradley because Bradley has a very good chin and he can't outbox him, Bradley is the better boxer. So tell me how does Hatton win ?
Re: Is Timothy Bradley overrated ?
He is the future of 140 now Hattons gone, trust me !
