I experienced the bitter hand of karma tonight... and I am pissed.
So after my beloved Canucks lose to the 'Hawks in game 6, I decided that my beer was in order, so I walked down to the liquor store about 15 mins from my house. On the way back, as I'm enjoying a delicious honey brown ale, a Pontiac Sunbird pulls up beside me and slows down - some douche-bag proceeds to lean out the window and throw an egg at me, hitting the bag containing my precious elixer, splattering my legs and shoes in egg innards. The car then drives away as I throw a beer bottle and shout all manner of threats and challenges, leaving me to stand on the side of the road, my new $160 running shoes covered in a light egg-yolk dusting (I'm pretty sure I cleaned all of it off when I got home).
Now, my friends and I used to do similar (and much worse things) when we were kids, but it's never happened to me before. I'm pissed off and I feel slightly immasculated as I could do nothing to stand up for myself or to prevent what happened.
I am very angry.

;D
They didn't get me very badly, just a little on my legs and shoes. It was the feeling of not being able to do anything in retaliation that really got to me.
Oh, and the Penguins suck balls.
Re: I experienced the bitter hand of karma tonight... and I am pissed.
That is a really bad experience! :o
Why would they do that to you, I really don't get the mentality of some people. I only try to cause harm when someone has tried to screw me over, but I would never throw eggs at random people. Shame you missed their car with your beer bottle. Bastards!

i can understand egging cars but egging people is just a waste of eggs

People are idiots.
We had a roving group of random target, slingshot and marble sniper gang here not long ago. wtf? They were driving around in a shitty old ford badlly rusted and clearly identifiable car, shooting anyone and anything, bus shelters, store windows, men, women, children, pets. It ended up being some 60 year old semi-retard, his 18 yr old 3 thumbed backwoods nephew, and his nephews bud.

It was little more than a childish gesture of defiance, they were far out of range by the time I collected my thoughts enough to decide hurling a beer bottle was an acceptable response. I'm not even sure it landed on the road.

Re: I experienced the bitter hand of karma tonight... and I am pissed.
i had some twat a week or two back leaning outside of his friends car window driving down a busy road with a super soaker spraying everyone in sight.
Rather than take it on the chin and accept the childish act i rather foolishly decide to lob the nearest plank of wood at hand at the car and it ended up missing by at least 20-30 feet and landing right infront of a very unsuspecting courting couple.
carson daly indeed has much to answer for!!!
