I read in the paper today that Green has been continueing discussions with Roy Jones and said he feels confident they are getting close to coming to a conclusion of getting this fight scheduled...
It was most likely be held at Rod Laver Arena in Australia...
Andre, will definetely have to grab a few seats and meet up with you for this one...
I'd be up for flying down for one that big, not too sure about the merits of it but would be great to see a legend.

I thought Roy was fighting Lacy? Has the Lacy fight not been finalized yet?
I think it meant after Lacy.. Because they did mention Jones' scheduled fight with Lacy... So perhaps they might look at RRJ Green for late in the year fight for the Aussie summer...Quote:

If this happens, im going!! This would be the biggest fight held in australia, forget mundine/green, fenech/nelson, ellis/michaels, tszyu/leija....this would be ROY JONES JR, one of my all time favourites and i think id be doing myself a massive injustice if i didnt go lol ;D
