Did Pacquiao beat Marqeuz?

:-\ I've been the strongest advocate that Pacquiao beat Marquez in their second showdown, for some reason while watching today I didn't get that impression, and rounds I thought for sure were going to one guy all of the sudden weren't. I honestly had it 113-112 today for Marquez, I still think 115-112 is a stupid score for Marquez to win by, but I am going to be a lot less of an asshole to people who felt Marquez won. Fights like Hopkins-Calzaghe I have watched and watched same with Mayweather- De La HOya and I can't see those fights differently than the first time, but this is different, I am not so sure and usually I am.

I'm not sure anymore, but it was a close fight either way. I still say Pac is #1 p4p, and can beat a lot of guys Marquez can't especially as they go up to 140 and 147.

I had it either 115-112/114-113 for Marquez. However, some of the rounds were close enough that I have no real problem with Pac getting the victory.

I don't think so, but like CFH pointed out, some rounds were so close that a single decent punch could win either fighter the round in the eyes of a judge.

The second fight, no matter how many times I've watched it always ended up 114-113 for Pacquiao with the knockdown pushing him over.

The first fight, I get a different winner everytime I watch it.

To be honest, I think anyone who calls either fight a robbery is just playing their favorites. Both fights could've gone either way. Even though I have Pacquiao winning the 2nd fight, if Marquez had been declared the winner, I wouldn't have thought Pacquiao got robbed.

Like who? You put Marquez in against David Diaz, the same weight drain De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton and Marquez beats them as well

I have them even after 24 rounds. I really want a defining fight between these two (2) small giants...

he beats Diaz(not like Manny did), but not De La Hoya even weight drained, and certainly not Hatton in 2 rounds.

Pacman won both , especially the first one

How in the world do you figure he wouldn't beat ODLH weight drained and broken?

I don't think he would be Hatton in 2 rounds, but he would pick him apart a be ahead huge when he stopped the hitman late in the fight.

I have watched it too at least 4x and even right after the fight and Marquez won imo 113 - 112.

scoring rounds defends on the one doing it. Maybe you have a different preference each time.


It will always be close between these two but pac will always win it. Its not personal to him see how in both fight he tried to hug JMM to show sportsmanship and how JMM ignored him both times? :D

To Pacquiao its just work like going to the office to JMM its personal he hates pac :D

Marquez beat Pacquiao for sure. Close fight but Marquez edged it despite the KD.
