Seems we are on a shite run of bad luck.May not exactly grab the headlines on the scale of a Wlad vs. Haye or Mayweather vs. Marquez but word is that Fernando Montiel has suffered a hand Injury and his anticipated July 27th 'Latin fury' clash with former flyweight Champion Eric Morel for the wbo Bantamweight championship is off.According to errm....Bob Arum :-X they are hoping to reschedule for a date to be determined in September.Was very much looking forward to this one!!Believe the come backing Morel would have been a very stern test for Montiel who is one of the finest fighters in the sport today.


In its place will be a match featuring the return of Jorge Arce fresh off his TKO loss to Vic Darchinyan as he meets one Fernando Lumacada (?) from the Philippines.

Just in, the rest of the sports boxer has taken the year off for unknown reasons. Sources say fight fan should expect no other fights to occur for this whole year. During an interview with local fans, Reporters got some interesting comments.
