IF Khan gets passed by Kotelnik, there is a possibility he will face Marcos Chino Maidana.
This would be a great test for Khan and his chin will most definetely be tested. Question is, will Warren allow this fight to take place, especially after the Prescott fight?

On another note watched the Kotelnik Maidana fight last night I think Maidana won.

Nah don't see it, If Khan gets past Kotelnik Warren would probably put him in the ring with
Malignaggi, a weak puncher.
If Khan gets in the ring with Maidana I would have the utmost respect for his guts because the Argentine is one mean muthaf*cka. However, I'm not that convinced that Khan beats Kotelnik yet so we'll see how that goes first
I would disagree that its only risk and no reward. Beating Maidana would instantly change a large segment of the boxing community's opinion of Khan, more so than Kotelnik really since people want to see Khan against a puncher. And I don't think its totally out of the question that he could, Maidana could get a bit overrated in the aftermath of the Ortiz fight.
There is no way Con can take half the punishment Ortiz took.

I still felt Amir Khan was very hittable, MAB was still able to hit him. And Amir Khan felt the weight of those shots he was hit with aswell, despite his new high guard defense. He's still vunerable to hooks or looping punches.Quote:

True but were talking about a legend in Barrera, granted a bit old but not far from almost edging an ATG in JMM, who had a good camp, no fires, nothing like what caused him to lose the first Pac fight. Obviously a much more accurate, technical fighter than Maidana.
Khan's defense sucks, he still managed to get marked up by Barrera for christ sake, Maidana would have ko'd Khan with half of any of the shots that he landed on OrtizQuote:

And the guy had one eye and looked kind of bloated and doesn't really have the power at 135 and still managed to rock Khan. I think Khan was wobbling a bit at the end of the 2nd.Quote:
