LOL jesus i haven't been to either in years but i personally, enjoyed Chessington more. But they've probably changed both of them quite a bit since i went. But Thorpe Park has probably got the more thrill rides if thats what your looking for.
Re: Londoners....Little help
I've been quite a few places in London (Cockney girls wow). None of those places you mentioned though.

Yeah my bros n sisters been to Chessington, seems a bit for the family crowd.
Thorpe seems to be alright with the new Saw ride n that.
Re: Londoners....Little help
Chesington and thorpe park are both in and around the surrey area which is about 5-6 miles off of london.
Thorpe Parks excellent if you want a good day out with the kids but the prices are ridiculous and more often than not the main rides require a good wait, chessington though still overpriced offers much more sensible price structures.
For what its worth i assure every one of you i attended both parks when i was a minor and am indeed not a serial sex offender ;D;D;D

Ha Ha thanks for the assessment.
Rides at Thorpe look a little more full on?
After thrills here!
Re: Londoners....Little help
Thorpe Park definitely, Chessington is shit now.
If you have a little look round the net you should find some discounts to make it cheaper. If you're going try going whilst schools are still on & fairly early because the queues get pretty big later in the day.
Found you one discount site

Out of all the cities I've been to London was always my favorite. Hope to go again.

One of the things I miss about the UK is that there is ALWAYS something to do. Great amusement parks all over the country with lots of quality rides.
And I criticise London a lot, I certainly wouldn't want to live there. But as a tourist venue it is superb. So many great landmarks, museums and restaurants. Lots of stuff happening.
