Apparently theres gonna be a Williams/Arreola double header...
Notebook: Mysteries surround Mayweather-Marquez - Boxing - ESPN
Goossen is also working on an HBO doubleheader (target date: Oct. 3) that would feature Paul Williams in the main event with Cristobal Arreola in the televised opener. Williams, who holds an interim junior middleweight belt, might face titleholder Sergei Dzindziruk of Ukraine, whom HBO would approve. Arreola, who did not get the September fight with heavyweight titleholder Vitali Klitschko that many expected him to land, probably will face former titleholder Oleg Maskaev in an elimination bout in which the winner would become Klitschko's next mandatory challenger. The card likely would take place in Southern California, according to Goossen.

This would be a nice card indeed.
Maskaev could be the 1st majorbum in the road for Chris; hopeb he gets in good shape because he could be there for a while.
Sergei Dzindziruk may find himself with his 1st loss and without a trinket to wrap around his waist; not sure he's fought since the Julio fight:confused: Hope this comes off; Williams is fun to watch and a force.

Sergei is no joke. It will be one of Paul toughest fights to date if it comes off.

basically another case of two highly avoided fighters taking each other on, IMO Williams is gonna be too big for him and will probably win a decision

yep. fights like this dont happen often. sergei is 6ft he isnt that small and has pretty good power too. it will be a great fight if it happens. although i do think Paul will win by UD. Sergie hasnt fought since beating Joel Julio i think.

Paul is amazing bottomline. He will fight anyone and this fight will certainly add to his greatness, after this fight I hope it propels him to the big fights, if he wins. Might be more reason for people to duck him though as well.

well in height there isn't much difference Dzinziruk is 6'0 and Williams is 6'1 but in reach, well Sergei has a 68" reach while Williams' has 82"
