Advice lower body and upper body.
How important are legs,lower back and glutes in boxing. Becuase It seems to me that these areas seem to be less developed in various boxers ?
How would you advice training upper body as my lower is massive.
Would bodyweight execrcises be enough or would you advise hitting the weights ? How would you structure a programme ?
I weigh in at around 90k 6ft 3, slim build, little body fat.

Lower body, first of all, is vital in boxing. Few appreciate this as they need to. Punching is a total body process. Tie yourself to a post then (with straight legs) punch as hard as you can. You will be far weaker than normal because your legs are not able to be involved. During a punch your legs (including glutes) straighten, your right calf (if you're orthodox) propells your forward, and your hips (and lower back) provide the bulk of the power. Upper body plays a less important role than lower.
To prove this point, go watch prime Tyson and look at his legs: nuff said.

It's just a matter of build and doesn't always relate to strength/power/endurance. Some fighters are stocky, some are long and lean.
Lower body is crucial. What are you doing at the moment? What do you want to improve?
I would look to add in some rotator cuff work to keep your shoulders balanced. If I was going near the weight room I would look at doing something like explosive bench presses, high weight/low reps. But you equally get a good workout from doing press ups & trying to clap in between.;)
Make it harder? Put your feet up on a bench.
It's a matter of deciding what you need.
