Hi folks.I've just relized that Kel Brook was fighting on the undercard of Amir Khans fight from last weekend.I missed the fight and have just watched the replay of it on youtube.I've kept a close eye on Kel for a few years now and he's still a really good prospect for the near future.Here is the bout!

I don't see Brook becoming an elite fighter at world level , i think and world class fighter with power knocks him out , his chin is so exposed.
Nice video, Brook's third round showed he's got the predatory instinct, once he saw Lomax was in trouble he was there like flies on poop.
Good prediction work from Skel....BBC states that Brook is going in with Jennings later in the year.

I love Jennings to bits but I see him getting stopped.
My problem with Brook is that he is beating up average British standard fighters and i just don't see him going to the top.
If you look at the 2 most successful fighters with similar styles.
Herol Graham - Brook doesn't have the head movement or defensive skills.
Hamed - He doesn't hit as hard , nor does he have the pivoting action from the waist that Hamed had , were he generated power and made himself hard to hit.
Brook's chin is hung out to dry and he appears very upright . He has yet to meet a big puncher at any level , so i just cant get carried away with this guy.
He is a prospect , but has to make many adjustments if he is going to make an impact on the world scene.
Which he may or may not be capable of doing, let's not dismiss this prospect just yetQuote:
