Anyone going to the V Fest?
I'm off for the weekend, a group of us are going up in three motor homes, no roughing it for us.
Can't wait, The Killers and Oasis are headlining, with Snow Patrol, Elbow, The Script, The Specials and James Morrison also there.
I reckon Elbow will be the highlight with their On a Day Like This.
I'm praying it doesn't rain but obviously not hopeful.
Still should be fun
Here's Elbow from Glastonbury last year

I thought you didn't like music
if its in England I probably won't make it.
Re: Anyone going to the V Fest?
I don't like many things but I still feel duty bound to experience them.
I am tentatively looking forward to it, my mates have been the last four or five years and I always back out so this year decided to go for it.
Should be fun apart from the fact that I hate the outdoors, standing up and rain, oh and having to piss in a field and shit in some giant communal hole in the ground along with half a million drunken revellers.
I've heard the drive up is nice.
Re: Anyone going to the V Fest?
That's too far from where i am, i won't go either if this is the line-up, not my brand of music. If it's The Cult, Priest, Napalm Death, Paradise Lost, Carcass and Benediction it will be armageddon for me.
Have fun though and stay sober

A few homies are making the trip. I'm staying back in Liverpool though.

Are they going up to monitor the caravan park, or to provide 'tent protection'?
