Hiit in the morning while i train at night? is this ok?
My Routine Is almost done, one last thing, hiit in morning, weights at night?
i am 5'7, 14 years old, still gotta litle tub (want the abs to show)
ive been lifting for 5 months seriously, i diet well. i own a heavy bag and lift weights and have an elliptical all in my house
can i do 10-15 min of hiit in the morning 5x a week on my 5 day training split? i weight train at night in my home gym, and have an elliptical i wanna do hiit on in the mornings.
My split:
Monday: 15 mins of hiit in morning, Chest and triceps and abs at night
Tuesday: 15 mins of hiit in morning Biceps And Back at night
Wednesday: 15 mins of hiit in morning Legs and abs at night
Thursday: Boxing ( I WILL NOT DO HIIT ON THIS DAY, this is enough cardio itself)
Friday: 15 mins of hiit in morning Shoulders, and a few compound lifts like bench press and deadlift. at night.
Saturday: Hiit, abs in the morning.
i also have football 2 hours 5x a week but its literally standing around watching our coach put in plays, then we walk through them at 3/4 speed lol.
is it ok to add in 15 mins of hiit in the morning 4 days a week? Maybe 5 if i do it on a saturday?
also what should i eat b4 hiit to ensure it burns fat not muscle, and after? I dont have whey protein so don't say that. today after hiit i had
1/2 cup yogurt, 1 and 1/2 tablespoon peanut butter, 1/4 cup fat free milk.
is this ok?
My hiit routine:
Warmup, one minute.
sprint 30 seconds, rest 45, sprint 30, rest 30, sprint 30, rest 45, sprint 30, rest 30 all the way till 10 mins or im dripping in sweat and can't go anymore.

Hi,
No need to rush. I know there is pressure on everyone to look good but you're only 14, you've got at least 7+ years of growing to do. (btw women go for more than a 6-pack ;))
5x a week for HIIT I would say is far too much especially on a day when you're training legs!
Try two days on two off to begin with. I 'may' do boxing on the same day as HIIT. It depends on your training aims. If it is just to get fit then do them on the same day. If you want to improve your skill level in boxing I could look to stay fresh.
If it were me, I would prefer to do something like HIIT with as little as possible in my stomach. One choice would be to have a small glass of juice to give you a boost of sugar and then have something balanced after. Cottage cheese is low fat and a good source of prot. It's also cheap.
