I was looking for the original last night on youtube to listen to and found that one. I laughed so hard. I mean they are decent musicians, but the singing/singer reminded me of tattoo from fantasy island

Emphatically, yes, that is the best version of that abortion of a song. Ever. In my mind, the only worthwhile part of Clapton's career, beyond Sunshine Of Your Love, was the intro to Layla. But then the pompous ass ruined it all with that bit at the end.
