I need jaw surgery :( will it affect me?

I need to get jaw surgery to correct my under bite but um scared that it will either leave my chin/jaw weak(more vulnerable to ko)? or itll make it easy to break :(. Am i worrying to much or do i have a good reason to worry? and also if i am just worried and i should be fine how long do you think i should stay away from sparring?
p.s now that i remember didnt Authur abrham have his jaw broken by miranda? and had it fixed and still fighting?
