What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
Marquez weighed at 148 on the unofficial scale.
Mayweather refused to weigh in and in the ring looked far bigger than Marquez.
I personally think Mayweather was just over the junior middleweight limit ( about 155-157). That was the biggest Mayweather i have ever seen.
I am not trying to discredit Mayweather's win. I'm just curious to know whats your thoughts about Mayweathers weight on the night and how big he looked compared to Marquez.
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
JMM said Mayweather was 20lb bigger.

I think floyd was about 160 that night, he said he woke up at 145 1/2 the morning of weigh ins. He did 20 mins on the mill got down to 145 but at the official scales he was 146. I think by fight night he blew up 14 pounds to 160. JMM said himself he felt like there was a 20 pounds weight advantage. I say it was atleast a 12 pound weight advantage.

Sad thing is if he weighed in at 145 then no one would have complained as much as they did over 146

Silly post
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
It is really silly. I think Floyd is full of it. He has to be kidding himself if he woke up at 145 and got to the scales weighing 146. He's playing that game, where he wants everyone to think it was really a challenge of a fight for him Marquez. He should be completely embarassed of his pyric victory over this guy.
He was about 158 imo. He's put on significant muscle mass. And his shots looked very sharp and crisp.
Also, in other news. A giant fast, young cheetah kills a determined armadillo fighting uphill in the sand.

I also read there was a 20lbs difference.
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
I think about 160 as well. Largest version of Mayweather we have seen
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
They could have both weighed 14 pounds soaking wet coming in and mayweather would have still ripped his ass. Take away the weight and pbf was still faster, smarter, better on defense etc.....marquez knew he'd be smaller when he took the fight, agreed to the payout clause the whole deal. Bottom line is juan was not beating floyd reguardless of weight, color of shorts or piss martini's
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
Put me down for 160. I think there was a lot going on with his weight and their willingness to give up that amount of $$ for those few pounds which likely could have gotten sweated off if need be. If he really was walking around close to fight weight. As in anywhere remotely close. I don't thnk he was as in his past fights, but think he realized he was going to be a lot heavier and was using the edge. Nothing wrong with that...I mean, who wouldn't want an edge, right?
How they handled it, well, w/e, that is debatable.
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
Maybe around 155-160. In the past when he was in his mid to late 20s he would rehydrate 3 or 4 pounds at the most, but since he's older now and one's metabolism starts to slow down I'm thinking it's around 155-160. Plus everyone has hit the nail on the head when they say he looks to be at his biggest in a fight.
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
nah, definitely not 160. didn't look that big to me. around 150~155 is my new guess.
Re: What do you think Mayweather weighed on fight night ?
Are you kidding me? What evidence was there that Mayweather was bigger than he used to be? There is no way he was even 155. He isn't a natural WW. The most he puts on for a fight is 6 pounds, and that was back at 130. He probably came in at 150-152. He's bigger than Manny and Marquez, but not by much, and he certainly is a lot smaller than Mosley or Margarito or Cotto, the same amount smaller than them as Marquez is smaller than Floyd. 155 would be the absolute most he could have weighed, and he didn't use size at all against Marquez. It was all speed and defensive skill.

I really don't get this "he isn't even a WW" business. Mayweather previously might have been a smaller sized WW, but he has come back a fully fledged one. He is bigger and carrying more weight and that's why he wouldn't reveal his fight night weight because it would have made a further mockery of what took place.
Mayweather might have been at smaller weights when he was younger but as he has matured so has his body. He is now a 32 year old I'm pretty sure he is at WW or LMW until the end now.
