Do have to unlock Tommy Morrision?

I found out recently that Tommy Morrison is on this game and I just wondered if he was a character you can select straight away or do you have to unlock him, because if you have to complete the game on super hard mode I may never ever get to play as that character. ;)

Not sure if its different on any other consoles but on the 360 you can select him immediately

Thanks for the quick reply, I've got access to a PS3, but I can't see it being different, nice one.
