Angulo/Yorgey on the Dawson/Johnson II undercard.
I think this is HBO WCB (their non-ppv broadcast). HBO tends to show just the main event on these. Really would like to see this one though I think it could be very explosive and competitive. I'm sure most people will think Angulo will just walk through him, but Yorgey doesn't crumble and he keeps pressing.

Is this the guy who looks like Kid Thunder? Harry Joe or something, I'll find out when I click the link.

He does look like Mr. Hartley, but like I said he gives an honest effort and doesn't back down. Anyway this fight goes it should be very entertaining IMO.
I was impressed with him against Hearns.
Re: Angulo/Yorgey on the Dawson/Johnson II undercard.
Yeah that does have the potential to be good, I completely missed the Harry Joe (I will always call him by that)/Ronald Hearns fight, maybe I should find that somewhere. Harry Joe has some skills but he's not super athletic and he's a bit of a knucklehead out of the ring (I forgot exactly why) but he is fun in the ring. Angulo matches up almost perfectly, you're right this is really good matchmaking.

That can be a good one, sure to end up as a battle of wills and imposing their strength rather than a stylistic fight.I'm sure they will air it as co-feature.They seem hell bent on continuing the big push with him.

Hearns landed some mean right hands in that fight and Yorgey just punched back, he does do a horrible PBF impression with his defense.
With the bad quality video it looks like Kid Thunder vs. Tommy Hearns though.
Re: Angulo/Yorgey on the Dawson/Johnson II undercard.
I think Angulo blows him out. Angulo hits harder and has a better chin than Hearns
Re: Angulo/Yorgey on the Dawson/Johnson II undercard.
This is a really good match-up! Angulo coming back against credible opposition after loss & this is not given, I think Angulo's pressure will be too much in the end tough but I'm sure it'll be fun the whole way!!!
154 has some good fights coming up:
Angulo/ Yorgey
Santos/ Foreman
Quintana/ Feliciano (maybe not so much)
We need to start deciding if any of these qualify for the vacant positions in our ratings...

I was thinking the same thing. Feliciano shouldn't be boxing much longer, I honestly can't think of another boxer that consistently gets hit non stop like he does.
Re: Angulo/Yorgey on the Dawson/Johnson II undercard.
Good post. This is a solid fight at 154. I see Angulo blowing him out and it's not that Yorgey is bad but he is made for Angulo. Angulo is vulnerable to anyone who can box and stay away from him and I don't see Yorgey able to do that. Still it is a good match-up and Yorgey could pull off the upset. Didn't he hire Jack Loew to train him for this fight?
