Has Danny changed his mind and still carrying on? I heard he was not stripped of his title and will defend it. Is it true?
he is fighting the winner of Sexton Vs Rogan... BBofC says it on there web site.............. board says his title wasnt on the line in prizefighter..
Thanks, he should retire but he keeps comming back.
its a lil payday 4 him to go out on really.... getting beat soooooo early in the 1st round of prizefighter only got him £2000
he has been champ 4 a while now so guess the board are showing him a lil respect n giving him a payday to go out on... as i recon the winner of Sexton/Rogan will Beat Danny.. find out who in a few weeks
I think it's fair enough that Danny is forced to take on the mandatory of Rogan/Sexton for the next defence, I don't think that losing in Prizefighter should affect his standing as British champion.
The analogy I would use is that of cricket....would England get stripped of the Ashes for their shocking loss in the 20-20 series?
Yeah, a last payday for Danny. I'd like to see him and Rogan fight, Rogan will win too as Danny is definitely shot now.
Just to add to the previous comments regarding Danny, was looking through the schedule on boxrec for British boxing over the next few months, and found Danny's scheduled to headline a Sunday show at the Watford Colosseum on 29 November in a 6x3 bout against Edgars Kalnars (20-20 - that's his record, not his eyesight!).
Just a hurrah so he can go out with a win, or building up to another defence/tilt at the British title?
Danny will carry on until he is beat, next Sexton, Audley, Haye and if successful re-match versus Vitali.
Danny has been in a lot of hard fights were he has taken lots of big shots to the head.
He has got to look at his long term health because it will be to late in 5 or 10 years time if he is sluring his words from all the punches.
He must have a good few quid in the bank, time to go Danny.
