Looks like Hasegawa will fight Eric Morel

Japan, December 18, boxingscene says its in the works and Morel has agreed to it, its on boxrec too but I don't know if its 100 percent set. Still it makes sense.

Will need to download this or catch it on youtube. Not a bad fight if you don't mind watching the little guys.

oh yeah, apparently Morel got tired of waiting for the Montiel fight to come off after Fernando's last fight and that cut which is why this has come up.

I don't know a lot about either fighter really, but I've been very impressed with what I've seen of Hasegawa.

I hope Hasegawa batters him badly, he should, I don't think Morel has fought anyone above journeyman level since coming out of prison. I'm big on Hasegawa & I think he stops him in 4. Hopefully painfully.

Totally agree.Would be nice to see Morel left in a heap.Think he'll be behind Haserawa alllll night.Shame Montiel had that messy fiasco,hope he gets biggie around corner.

well i know Morel's cousin, so i can easily find out if it's true

oh i agree, even when he was undefeated he didn't have much power, and he's looked pretty much horrible since the Castillo loss, thing is i'm not gonna tell him to his face that i think he's gonna get his ass whooped lol

Morel's never been stopped. I doubt he'll get stopped here. I see him losing a lopsided decision.

there's a first for everything, and given how strong Hasegawa's been looking as of late, IMO he can pick Morel apart and stop him late

Rocha and Malinga had never been stopped either.

It'll look good if Hasegawa stops him at the least.

I doubt he'll stop him actually. That being said I haven't seen much of Morel lately.
