He's too hittable IMO...
As I've said time and time again. Someone with good movement, and a good set of skills will beat him. Several fighters have proven that AA can go in this defense way and just cover up and not throw. A fighter who fights smart and wins rounds on activity will decision him. But the fighter needs to move and fight the full 12 rounds.
I like AA a lot, but Dirrell is going to beat him IMO.Quote:

Clrean punches hardly ever get through and when they do Arthurs got one of the best chins in the game. As mentioned in another thread he is also one of the hardest p4p punchers in the sport so all in all he is 1 tough customer.
I like his style. He strikes me primarily as a thinking fighter.. However I think Kessler and Dirrell will beat him. Both for different reasons.
Why do you think this Josh? I think it will be an interesting fight. Abraham I think looks to do everything better than Carl Froch, but he doesn't press a fight like Carl.Quote:

If Abraham's slower pace allows Dirrell to get into this fight, Froch's performance won't look so bad, but if Abraham can dominate Dirrell it will really highlight Froch's deficiencies I feel.
Personally I can't see Dirrell winning this, I just think Abraham is too strong, but only one fight ago I was scpetical about Abraham's chances in this competition too so opinions are likely to swing about it as the round robin style matchups of the first 3 rounds are completed.

As ive said all along if a fighter is brave enough and willing to take some in return AA is there to be roughed up, thrown around and taken out of his zone (ala:dirrell)
I cant see how AA is going to keep dirrell at bay for 12 rounds unless andre either completely goes into his shell or he gets severly punished every time he attempts to put abraham on the ropes or tie up an arm.
If he ends up having to travel to nottingham to fight froch it`ll be a classic encounter, A proper tear up which may just suit AA. But if he attempts to fight with that defensive guard, fight in bursts style that he has froch will simply run rings around him all night and he`ll be made to fight frochs fight.

he is a tough SOB. I like his chances to win the whole thing. He doesn't have the best skills of the group but his will to win can't be questioned.
The thing is i think Dirrel can outbox AA but the whole time i will have the feel that any moment AA is going to land that big shot and change everything.
When Taylor showed go head movement AA wouldn't attack, so there is hope for Dirrel. The thing is he has to do it the whole fight.
Even Froch managed to clock Dirrell a couple of times. Abraham will definitely land a few more and Dirrell looks like a knockout waiting to happen.
But then if it's in America maybe Dirrell can keep his chin out of harm's way and dance to a hometown decision. I'm probably going with Abraham on this one.
There is no rule that says you have to stand in front of a fighter for 12rounds. There is nothing wrong with using the whole ring.
Where is that fight? Dirrell beat Froch all 12 rounds and didnt get the decision. So im not sure that he will get a deciscion over AA who seems to be Shotime's Darling.Quote:

I suspect he beats Dirrell with a come from behind win.
Ordinarily I would say fat chance, because if Dirrell gets ahead he'll just dance and move and make himself unavailable to be caught with something big. However, the fact he didn't get the decision against Froch, probably makes that kind of scenario much more likely as he won't want to take anything for granted. Whatever happens, I bet it will be a better fight because of Dirrell's loss.Quote:
