Bet for Cotto vs Pacquaio

I'm starting this thread to formally call on bettors. This fight is too big and too historic and as fans of the sport we need to take sides. Let's enjoy this fight with a bet.

My prediction and bet: Pac wins over Cotto.


First come, first served. Only one bettor per prize so I can maximize my bets.

The prizes:
You may change my:
1. avatar (for 3 months)
2. signature (for 6 months)
3. name ( for 3 months)

edit: Here's a nice story about Pac's beginnings. The author and I have seems to have a similar story about how we have seen Pacquaio during his early beginnings. I was really shocked how Pac would dominate his foes early in his career.A skinny guy whom you think does not know how to punch is TKoing opponents like crazy. Pac was really funny with his awkward style but he was already very entertaining then.

I'm tipping Pac as well.. I love Cotto and will put him against almost anyone out there, but Pac is too fast and he is growing more confident in his defense every fight...

Just so you know, im currently 0-1 in name bets (lost to rocky marshmellow back in the day in possibly the first name bet on saddos when hatton beat tszyu) :p So im only doing this to get my record even ;D

LOL. Just to also let you know, I've never been defeated in my bets here except when I bet against Pacquaio when he fought DLH. I did that because I was so anxious with the size of DLH so I bet against my boy. hehehe. ;D;D;D

In case Cotto wins, this will be quadruple jeopardy for me.;D;D;D

Can't really make my mind up on this one, i don't think Manny Pacquiao has fought a genuine Welterweight yet. And im not sure if Miguel Cotto is still 100 percent after the Antonio Margarito fight, he looked a bit stale in the Joshua Clottey fight, mind you Joshua Clottey is pretty much a tough fight for anyone.

Is body shots the key to beating Manny Pacquiao ? those KO losses were obviously from being weight drained, but still is body shots the way to go ? i haven't really seen Manny Pacquiao tested to the body, except when JMM hammered him in 8th or 9th round of there 2nd fight. and if it is there is no one else who can test Manny Pacquiao body's better than Miguel Cotto.

The key to beating Miguel Cotto ? uppercuts now Manny Pacquiao doesn't really have an uppercut, but he does have a good right hook. Which will be the key, Manny Pacquiao fans just see the DeMarcus Corley fight.

Speed vs Power which one wins ? i honestly don't know. Im sitting on the fence with this one, and may the better man win. I just hope the winner gets an immediate shot against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
