Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
Mayweathers my favorite fighter and to be honest ill feel really let down as a fan if he doesnt fight Pacquiao after last night, which im sure is how alot of his other fans will see it if he doesnt. I think there will never be a better time to prove who is the p4p best, and although Mayweather will no doubt be the favorite to win (i think hes too slick for Manny on a personal note), i think Pacman has proved himself more than enough to demand 50/50 of the purse.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
Mayweather being the 4th biggest PPV draw all time demands the lions share of the purse; Pacman should take the fight if he wins he'll never have to take the smaller share again against anybody.
Fight must happen! I was already a huge Mayweather fan, now I'm also a huge Pacman fan.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
I've no idea why floyd coming back and beating JMM gives him the right for 60 - 40 anyway. I have a feelin that, due to the little patches of good boxing Cotto showed last night, Mayweather will box Pacquiao's ears off, although Pac's awkward angles will help for sure..... I'd say he would give Mosely all kinds of problems as he anywhere near as elusive as Mayweather. That Uppercut that he dropped Cotto with last night was tremendous. He can throw punches from all kinds of angles.

I do see your point on the PPV draw side of things mate, but after last night i think Pacquiao can demand 50/50.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
I can totally understand your point too mate, but the money side of things is unfotunately not about performances it as to be about revenue.
I mean the reality of it is Boxing is a business like any other and the fighter bringing in the most money (Not the most popular) should receive the lions share of the cash. When PAcman fought ODH he was a better fighter than ODH, he was P4P 1 etc but ODH got the lions share as he was the bigger PPV draw.
And it was the same again when PBF fought ODH, PBF was the better fighter etc, but ODH as the bigger draw and commanded more money.
Pac is huge but as a PPV draw nobody fighting at the mo is bigegr than Floyd why woud he sell himself short to please a few keyboard warriors?
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
After watching Pacquiao last night, Pac v. Mosley would be a great fight at welterweight.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
I want to see all 3 fight each other:thumb:
Will Money get in the ring or will he price himself out:dontknow:
I have to favor Floyd but Manny is amazing:bowdown:
He's not just beating these guys he's smashing them:o
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
It will definitely happen i imagine Floyd is salivating at the idea of it.
I'm not sure 50/50 is realistic. I imagine Floyd will demand at least 55/45 not just for the extra money but for the principle that he is the prize.
I don't think Manny should quibble to much either way. Record pay day for him, and Floyd will bring in the most PPV fans I feel (although Manny the most casino money), plus he is the undefeated fighter and recognised champ although a beltless one at this juncture.
Floyd himself took less to fight Oscar and if Manny has to make that concession I am sure he will.
The fight will definitely happen, its too big not to.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
Agree its to big not to happen:thumb:
But has Floyd got the balls???
After the way Pacman annihilated Cotto
Floyd might be looking reasons not to fight
I already heard him & his Pacs on steriods s:censored:
Floyds just the sort of cat that would fight Saul Alvarez instead
Just to f:censored: everyone off
Make the fight Money & I got your back forever

I dont think he would be selling himself short by breaking even with the man who took over his spot as the p4p best and has achieved what Manny has recently, and he wouldnt be pleasing a few keyboard warriors by agreeing to 50/50 and just getting on with it, he would be pleasing every boxing fan in the world. Yes boxing is a business, and wether or not a fight gets made these days depends on what happens at the negotiating table. Floyd will no doubt demand the lions share because, like you said, he is the bigger PPV draw and thats just a fact. But what im saying is, Pacquiao could make a case that if Mayweather wants the chance to prove to the world that he is the best and get his p4p no1 spot back, he has to agree to equal terms. Which imo is a good argument for Pacman. Thats all i meant, i dont really care as long as the fight happens.

Ok the P4P status is mythical and does not equate to real money. I'd happily let someone say they are P4P better so long as i get more money. People get the fanfare and the business confused. the most importanmt thing here is money.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
The P4P list may be mythical, but the fact is people use it to determine the best fighters in the world and thats what makes it viable. Its fanfare that makes the PPV numbers in the end, and in that respect Pacquiao is easily on par with Mayweather. I would also let someone say that they are the best for more money mate im with you on that one, but this is Mayweather we're talking about. Everyone knows that Floyd is money mad, but hes also a fiercely competitive athlete that is used to being universally regarded as the best. Now hes not, its bothering him, which you can see from recent interviews hes had.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
I think Pac would destroy Mosley faster than Cotto; if ever there was a genuine 50/50 split fight, it's this one.
Re: pac vs mosley vs pbf.
Well everyone knows the history of these fighters Floyd has the right to demand more money; but you are right the P4P status means something to some fighters and Floyd is one of those who really cares about it.
the facts are though numbers do not lie. If America is the only country that has this fight PPV there can be no doubt that Floyd is the bigger draw and commands more money.
