Like everyone, im very excited and anxious about the prospect of pac man vs maywether. I thought that if pac man beat cotto (as he did) then the fight was as good as on.
Could some one educate me n let me know what this great fight that everyone wants to see is depending on? Surely this fight has to happen!!??:confused:
Money. Meh, don't want to oversimplify things but yeah, money. If one guys says 60/40 or fuck off it won't happen.
Also Arum and Floyd have had a long running tiff, but yeah money.
Money? Thats a bit wack isnt it, i can only imagne there both fucking loaded! What about the pride of being number 1, ending the on going debate that the whole of modern day boxing wants to know!? Whos the best boxer of our time and generation? If not for them selves they could at least do it for the fans.
Do you not think that both fighters would agree to a 50/50 split? The amount of money this fight will draw in is gonna be of the fucking hook anyway.
I thought that the main reason maywether came out of retirement was because his P4P Ring title was so quickly snapped up with so much hype by pacman that he wanted to confirm he is still No1 by taking back the title?
I dont bloody know, money talks more than pride i guess.

Money is the #1 aspect that will take the longest to dispute. Maybe weight will also be up there but we all know how Floyd handles that. Ring size too. I don't know, I just think this will be one of the most messy negotiations in all of boxing history.
Money and weight issue; Roach will want a weight which is good for Manny, Mayweather will want a weight that outrageously advantage him.
Do we think the fight will definitly happen or not??
I am certain it will. It would be the biggest payday for everyone included, from the promoter to Pacman to Mayweather. It is too big not to happen at some point.Quote:
