xbox 360 or ps3?

my choice is 360 just kauze nfl madden has better graphics for 360.

I'm going to buy one or the other at xmas, so would also appreciate some info on which is best.

Amongst the serious gamers here at geek central the consensus is that for games the XBOX is the best, but or course with a PS3 you get the blue ray player. So for non serious gamers I'd go PS3.

The only problem I have is that all the deals at the mo seam to be XBox, I think Asda are doing an Elite console with second wireless controller, the headset thingy and a couple of games for £175.

PS3 I think are going for £200 with one controller and one game.
