Mick Hennesy is a joke every undercard fight on his shows are either Tom Glover or Lee Purdy??
Maybe a bit of variety Mick wouldnt do any harm :rolleyes:.
Another thing that pisses me off the last show ITV4 will be showing will see John O'Donnell defend his title against some bin man, why did the Commenwealth board or whoever decides these things demand Craig Watson should get a rematch?? No we just see O'Donnell defending the title he didnt deserve against bums.
So tonight we have the great card of:
Barker v Butler
Purdy v Douglas

Urn? So this fella lost in a fight for the English title last time out and now he has a British championship fight?!
As for ITV, and the undercard, why didn't they stump up a little bit of cash and show the Kessler v Ward fight from last week?

I suppose to be fair he is a late replacement, but I also thought Purdy was fighting in the prizefighter he was in the original line up?
Shame we only have one more show after this one on ITV, maybe ITV can get a deal with a promoter that puts on good shows in the future.

Then people are wondering why ITV are pulling the plug, woeful matchamking like this is a disgrace for a tv show, the current fight with the apparently " no one wants to fight me " bloke is a repeat of the same fight which was a shut out 6 months ago but promoter of the year big Mick seems it a good enough fight to be live on tv what a fucking joke.
Also this most avoided fighter in europe :rolleyes: was totally shut out by Tommy Mcdonagh thats how good he is.

The sad fact is that ITV can't compete with Sky and the box office for decent boxers. This is is the best they can afford.
I'd rather see them show cheap fights from around the world of exciting boxers. Must be some goods ones they can get for next to nothing. Can't be any competition as I'm not seeing them anywhere else!

Nothing to do with that at all mate, ITV have a expensive contract with Hennesy its down to him to put the show on, Maloney and Hattons camp have a smaller contract with sky. The fact is Hennesys camp of fighters are shite nothing to do with money at all.
Murray v Thaxton was a year to late we have seen some good top of the bills but im on about the undercard fights shocking bills.

His undercards have been crap for ages now. Same old faces is because he hasn't got the fighters.
Froch-Dirrell was the worst i've ever seen for a big fight.
And I agree it was laughable ITV were making El Maachi out to be a worldbeater ;D

That card was shit. It doesn't surprise me that ITV don't want anything to do with Hennessey's cards next year, but its a shame they aren't going to pick up anything else to replace it. And El Maachi, president of the who needs him club? I'm sure theres a line of fighters quaking in their boots at the thought of fighting him:rolleyes:

He deffo has some power this Morrocan but he is to left hand happy, doesnt use his rite hand at all he would be battered by anyone with some half decent skills.
He says he can make Welterwieght he should drop down theres plenty of fights for him there.

I'm not a big fan of Henessey atall. He's struck it lucky with Froch IMO, can never get a decent fight for Murray, and has no one else..... Maybe Barker. ITV must have picked up on the fact that Froch is now going to be Showtime based for a while and dumped it...... Where now for Murray after xmas, thats what I wanna to know. I like Murray, and he was mandatory for Mezaache's Euro Title. I say Murray should jump on board the with the Hatton camp........
