Crazy weird spiral light in sky over Norway

Suppose everyone has seen this.. But what do you think it is? I suppose Bilbo will have a conspiracy theory, but it's quite strange....

I'm guessing obviously some sort of rocket or something going spastic..

It was seen for 100's of miles and 1000's of people called up radio stations and stuff..

On the bottom right you can kind of see light tapering off in a specific direction towards earth, making me really think it was some type of launch where it started to circle a bit, as the light is a bit wavy heading up, then it just took off in circles... Would have been amazing to see in the sky in person

Actually Bilbo doesn't believe in UFO's so no conspiracy theory.

My guess would be that it was just some tech geeks fooling about with a very powerful projector.

I used to own a cheapish (£500) projector and can remember for fun shining scenes of Pearl Harbor or some other war films onto the houses in the street behind us.

You'd see massive planes flying across the houses, it was really quite impressive.

That just looks to me like a more expensive projector setup shining a spiral into the sky.

Actually on second viewing what I thought was a sign of projector trail, doesn't look bright enough, it looks almost like a clouds.

Not sure, it's hard to tell how big it was. I think its possible it was some people just shining something from over the hill, but maybe it is something burning up in a pretty way.

Maybe an impressive firework? Depends how long it lasted and how big it was, impossible to tell from the footage.

It also looks like all the filming was done from the same angle as well. Like no one from the other side of it... suppose it could have been near a coast.

Or maybe it just looks the same from any angle, like a firework where doesn't matter where you are looking at it from, it looks the same..



I'm just thinking of if you shook up a bottle really hard, then put a hole on the side in one of the ends, it would spin around and look exactly like that
