How much weight do you/will you gain over Xmas
In the last 3 years, each xmas (between 20th Dec - 5th Jan) I have gained about 10 pounds. This year's aim is to lose 3 pounds in the next week and a half and then only gain back those 3 pounds during the xmas period, i.e be the same weight as I am now on 4th Jan when I go back to work!
Got to do it this year, coz fed up of having a miserable January trying to diet!!
Anybody else go mad over xmas?

Normally my weight doesn't move up much during the holiday seasons, 3-4 pounds at best which are always lost in the 3-4 weeks after when I top eating almost everything nasty to compensate for the little extras I accorded myself during holidays.

Christmas isn't really celebrated out here and so I kind of miss out on all the seasonal indulgences. Even back home my weight never really fluctuated all that much though, so my weight will likely be the same as normal. I might have a roast beef dinner on christmas day and eat a load of chocolate. I'm expecting my twice yearly British food imports any day now, so I'm looking forward to all the snacking. I'm as thin as rake and even chocolate is no match for my psychotic metabolism.

I know it's a little late, but I've even ordered myself an Advent calendar! It doesn't get much hardcore than that!
British Corner Shop is a godsend to hungry expats the world over.

They probably do actually. They even do Fray Bentos meat pies, anything you want that doesn't go bad too quickly. I buy stuff in bulk and tidy myself over 6 months at a time. Korean supermarkets really suck donkeys balls. Crisps boil down to a choice of ready salted or squid. That sums up most of the food here. I love BCS, it keeps me sane.
