Brit is a shortened version of Briton, I don't see how that is offensive.

just so happen that flip also means crazy and people here prefers to be called pinoys. no biggie really but when you use the word flips in a sentence together with the words shit and drugs then its offensive.

i think it's like the word niggah for the blacks. it's not offending when another black says it. i don't get offended by the word flips, but it's true a good number of filipinos would get offended by it and i can understand why. pinoy is the more acceptable term.Quote:
