Jorge Arce vs. Angky Angkota for WBO Superflyweight Title
Its over at Boxing Scene. On January 30th in Toluca, Mexico, Arce gets a shot at the vacant WBO Super-Flyweight Title vacated by Marvin Sonsona. Gotta believe this is Arce's last chance for a run at the top. Arce (52-6 40KOs) fights Angky Angkota (23-4 14KOs) from Indonisia. He lost to AJ Banal but he's apparently on a bit of a winning streak. I don't know much abouthim but the article claims this is a major ste up for Angkota, so maybe Arce can take this one.
Re: Jorge Arce vs. Angky Angkota for WBO Superflyweight Title
Thinking your right about the last chance,no doubt.Know next to nothing about Angkota...make that nothing but Arce is off of some seriously taxing battles and ringwear is obvious. He'll go until someone straps him down with ropes on his stool but is collecting ring years and damage in a fast way.Never know about...for lack of a better term...these silent imports from overseas but he has a couple of names as well as some limp opponents according to his record. He'd be advised to bring a helmut and be prepared to go places he's not gone in with truth teller Arce or he'll be beaten.
