There's no arguing with them, the fuckers in the UK AND Al Gore with his bullshit filled "documentary" got caught red fucking handed LYING and yet here we are.
Newsflash to those "Greenies" the climate changes, man, no man, cars, no cars, it just changes!!!! Winds, currents, Milankovich Cycles, the tilt of the Earth's axis....there are any number of reasons BEYOND anything humans do to explain why it's colder or warmer.
But let's just clear the way for Kirklandlaing to come in here and preach at us about how wonderful the Earth could be and about how great the taxes are and blahblahblah.

Hello, we are on the opposite side of planet Earth to you fellows.Its still the same planet.
The balance in days of old was just more refined without these extremes.

Thank God nature is a balancing power;but it is that limit thatis in question ,not global warming as a business strategy or a tax rip of or whatever else you wish to divert your thoughts off into .
In real life terms we are down here with out any drinking water spending thousands on desalination plants,pipelines from the northern rain regions so that we dont start dieing off from water born diseases that come in shallow ponds aside from basic thirst and agriculture.
Everyone worth their salt has to have a filter system if using tap water to drink now.
The Islanders out from here are having to get up on higher ground because their villages are going under the sea because of the ice melting and rising sea levels. Pieces of Ice larger than the size of England are on the move out into warmer waters and its building faster.
I know the Greenies and the Goverment with their new taxes is total bullshit and wont help the problem one bit and its all a farse from that point of view,but there is some major problems and we are the cause of them, like it or not.
Even the deepest of deep sea currents has ceased and is about turn the opposite way than it has ever gone).this is the beginning of the end as we know it, as that is a core counter balance of weather.
Our ozone layer is gone here over the south of Australia (we have the hole over us ,we suffer skin cancers now,I got one burned off my back just last week,aside from that other stuff i mentioned :embarassed:)

Only in its deepest areas is it still fighting. Evolution of those species has ceased and now the outer reefs are under new stresses and are slowly dieing.
This is all man made and the main cause is our over population our over consumption of meat, (cow farts rising as pure methane); aside from all the car shit you already know about, industry and coal fuelled electricity plants that we still continue with here.

Andre, this stuff happens. Droughts happen I know because in North Carolina every fucking summer all I hear is "Worst drought in history"....and usually it isn't.

is always happening then I'm thinking the importance of curbing CO2 emissions is a bit over stated besides since the fucking Industrial Revolution we have VOLUNTARILY moved on to fuels that have lower carbon emissions hay & wood -> coal -> oil -> natural gas -> eventually hydrogen.....but apparently that's just not good enough for Kirkland because the government needs more control over the average citizen :mad:

There is no doubt that global warming is playing its part. Kirkland and Andre are right. Even out here we have had the worst snowfall since 1903, but we all know that this will not lead to the coolest summer since 1903. The earth is screwed up and getting sick. We have put so many toxins into the environment that the earth is beginning to suffer. And unfortunately we are doing nothing to treat the condition. China and the US continue to burn coal at extreme levels, more people than ever are driving their SUV's and like Andre says, the cows are indeed farting. Our lifestyle choices are causing the problems and to simply say "I hate Greenies" and deny all the evidence that has accumulated is just silly. In our lifetimes we will begin to see the changes and we will begin to suffer the consequences. It will hit the poor first, but it will get to us eventually. Food prices are rising already, just wait until the environment really begins to hit farming and competition for food becomes more intense. There ARE big changes afoot, but unfortunately our quest for short term gain is coming at a serious cost to the planet and the ultimate survival of the human race.

One thing to understand about global warming:
1) the year''s overall weather is 2 degrees higher than the average, it is something unprecedented. Carbons is thrown off in the airs, it is proven to warm things, now reduce the green carbon eater zones and throw even more carbon, sure it's gonna warm up. Every single independent group in Norway and Finland watching the glaciers and the water over there are unanimous: something really really evil is going on over there and the repercussions will be staggering.
2) Global warming means in general, if you fucked up climate, some of these places will literally freeze as some others will turn to dust, Australia and American Midwest among other things.
3) we have to split up the sole global warming fact and all the politicians or upstarts trying to make a dime out of it. Sure, all those who can will try to surf the wave and to make profit out of it, that doesn't mean that the problem doesn't exist. I don't believe trust Gore and a lot of Green, which doesn't mean that the problem isn't there and that some things written on the matter aren't true.

Global Warming is a hoax it's something stirred up to get people to watch the news, read the newspaper/internet, watch certain movies (Inconvenient Truth, The Happening, The Day After Tomorrow, etc), sell products (curly q light bulbs with MERCURY in them, Carbon Offsets, etc), and vote Democrat.
Do you know why I am so set in my belief that it's a hoax? Because everything else pushed this hard and forced on the public was a hoax: Global Cooling, Running out of Natural Resources, Y2K, Swine Flu, all of them. The fact that newspapers and tv news programs are dying out have made them step up the rhetoric and scare tactics.
Call me crazy but I figure the Milankovitch Cycles and Orbital Forcing have a greater effect on climate than the CO2 released by humans.

As someone has said, to see snow and conclude from that that global warming isn't happening is crazy.
Lyle, the concept and knowledge of global warming/climate change has been around just a little longer than Gore's documentary.
Kel, sure some companies profit from the 'go green' message but the changes that are needed to combat climate change actually represent major challenges to national economys. It would be more in the government's interest to play it down i would say. Instead they are pretty relentless with their messages, ads, articles, papers etc.

I dont believe in global warming, as the earth was only created 4000 years ago so there is very little benchmark data to go by. The Bible says that there was deserts and stuff around then (ie the Sinai) and they must have been pretty hot and dry ...... so I can't see how things can have warmed up much. Same with any theory about global cooling ..... I mean, if Joseph needed a coat of many colours - it must have been cold then already!!
And, yes ..... today it's snowing, so that absolutely disproves any theory about climate change.

I wouldn't know him if he walked past me today, I swear it.I dont watch to much one sided stuff.
But I do see pictures on the news of ice larger than some countries floating up towards us .
I do see sea levels rising and natives moving to higher ground.
I do see our Reefs dead and dieing.
It really has occurred, its not some trick camera work Lyle, its a fact one of the seven natural wonders of the world is all but dead.
I dont like taking sides ,it creates more friction for the opposite of that side to fire off and do nothing physically about anything which equals political excuses. Both sides have their blinkers on cause they are out on the flanks.
Meanwhile guess what is still going on.
