Went to see Ricky Hatton in standup in liverpool last night

I would 100% recommend it to anyone, i had a fantastic night and Ricky was brilliant. Sitting and listening to him describe all his fights with such detail and with such great wit was truly an honor. God bless you Ricky and all the best in your comeback (which he confirmed to all of us with passion).:)

He is probably a better stand up comic than boxer.

He's the biggest i've ever seen him at as he was getting interview last night live on sky sports1.He needs to take his time shedding them extra 3or4 stone and im affraid to say he could take a hammering if he goes in like a steam train like he did against Manny especially after coming back after losing that much weight,it aint clever and smart losing weight and killing himself at the gym straight away at 100%,i wish him luck on getting into shape and i dont blame him for coming back for one last chance,just make sure you choice the right opponant and corner trainers Ricky and we'll see you back in the ring in Augest if all goes to plan.

True he does look fat and grotesque and the filming of him training in that condition does not look good. You are right it will take many months to get in top condition.

I dont think he is funny at all quite cringe worthy really, well what I have seen on tv and bits and bats of his after dinner speaking.

Did he tell the Mike Tyson in bed with yout Mrs one? Heard that on every chat show he has been on fir last 5 years, or how about his dad is so small he has a full length picture for his passport pic another Hatton classic that he tells every single appearance on tv, not knocking him he would be a laugh no doubt to hang out with.

But when he is in a situation on tv to me he trys too hard and just tells shit jokes that if your normal run of the mill mate told youd tell him to shut the fuck up.

Yeah it is true, when he told the jokes that we've heard for the last few years i just smiled to be honest. It was the talkthrough about his career and fights that i found funny, some of it hilarious.

funniest one was him describing him going back to his corner against mayweather and billy telling him he was doing fine and floyd wasnt hurting him to which he told bill...

Haha, yeah i loved that one! A lad came back from the toilet to take his seat and Ricky put his thumb up to him and said "top man", to which the lad replied "cheers Ricky", then Ricky said "not you mate, your shirt!".;D

Don't know much about his stand up, but I've heard that he's pretty good at fall down... ;)

Yup agreed

Last time i saw Hatton standup live , was all to brief and affair , it only lasted 5 mins or so , then he had to be helped back to the standing position.

I've been to a Hatton stand up. Pretty decent and got a pic with him. Shame he was contracted not to sign autographs. I'ld definitely recommend it to anybody who hasnt been and likes Boxing.
