Re: pacman video on espn boxing
You haven't been around very long, have you?
Re: pacman video on espn boxing
Yeah, no matter your stance this Pac situation is overplayed and exhausted.

I never came across this, if this is true im dissapointed.

Anyone have a link to this?
I feel like doing a little Manny bashing, but would like to make sure I have good reason for a proper old rant.

Re: pacman video on espn boxing
Holy shit. Manny doesn't even try to make a worthwhile excuse there. Back to the same old "it will affect my performance" argument. A blood test 15 days before the fight would affect your performance? And then at the end he says he will only fight if it is the testing imposed by the commisions?
It was interesting to see it all from the horses mouth and he comes across like a man with something to hide and he doesn't seem to care all that much either. He has shown no willingness to prove himself clean at the highest level. He obviously doesn't give a damn what the fans want.
A blood test 15 days before the fight is not good enough for him? If that is not a closet admission of guilt then I don't know is.

yeah well pacquiao isn't very fluent in english so things he say can be taken the other way. how i understand it is, he doesn't really want to take a blood test when his camp is in full steam(2 weeks before the fight) as it will disrupt the peak of his camp training. i guess that's a legit excuse? i dunno, i don't wanna make excuses for him. cause i'm gonna eat some shit for that in this forum.
maybe they should take his blood when he's on the cooling off period after peaking in training?
Re: pacman video on espn boxing
There are no excuses for Pac Man that will explain his reasoning not to take the test.
Re: pacman video on espn boxing
When I was testing medicine because I was way too poor, I could have sometimes 20 blood draw per day and in all honesty, I went to play sports the monday just after. never felt weak or anything, the blood quantity is way too small, it's not like if they take one litter and half for blood donation, the body can cope with it damn well and if I can survive that, no doubts that a top elite fighter like Manny can survive it all.
Re: pacman video on espn boxing
Saying that a blood test 15 days out would disrupt his training is not an excuse. It's a legitimate reason for not wanting the test. He would have to stop juicing for a few days right in the heart of his training towards peaking on fight night. If that's not a disruption, I don't know what is!? :biglaugh:
