Frank Warren: So much for the loyalty Amir | The Sun |Sport|SunSport Columnists

Bit cowardly from Amir there, I would be man enough to pick up the phone and thank Frank and explain to him personally why he has left. I dont know why fighters dont do that, should of been a man and gave Frank the repsect he deserved.
Pretty good article by Frank and not much bashing I feel foe him a little I suppose but what does he expect in truth? When American TV want you the only place to go is to the States and get with the promotional companys over there.
I honestly cant see Khan lasting long without Warren... say what you like about Warren but he makes his fighters (and himself) more money by knowing his fighters limitations, having a very good eye on what fights to pick and avoid.
i personally think he has done a great job with Khan who i think is vastly over rated... warren must have had nightmares with the amount of money he invested in him wondering will this be the night he gets exposed... then when he was exposed he still managed to sell him as PPV after a first round KO... how the fuck does he do it ;D
his real limitations will show without the protection he was getting now IMO
Who was it that was saying Frank was prasing Haye the other week ;D That didnt last long blaming him and Booth for the appointment of the Cuban coach, 120% certain he meant them two in the HGH claim in last weeks column.
You read the sun ?
secondly you take anything that Warren says as true ? the guy is a fucking joke.
Never ever feel sorry for Warren, they make a lot of money of the fighters who risk their lives.
Without Warren Amir will bite off more than he can chew and get banged.
I still think he's going to struggle to get past Maidana and then the comeback fight (after he loses to Maidana) against Hatton.
I've read the script!

I may be a retard, but I've forgotten more about Franks shady dealings than you will ever know pal. ;)
What comes around goes around and even if Khan has been a bit unfair to Warren in this case I sure there are countless fighters out there could tell you storys of being screwed over by Frank Warren.
Also I know a guy who used to clean swimming pools and Warren refused to pay him after doing the job.(this happened a good few years ago now)
I have very mixed feelings about it:
1) it's true that Warren did an incredible job with Khan, getting him PPV where he shouldn't have had none, climbed him quite some popularity in the UK despite racism and such. Like the man or not, he did something superb there.
2) Warren is just like the Don King of UK, a crook, shady moves over shady moves but often survived because of the Tenor barristers he hires. Just the fact that he did own Calzaghe 1.5 millions and didn't want to give him (the court gave Calzaghe's right) says a lot. I will never feel sorry for a crook losing one of his milk cow.
So my conclusion is: Amir leaved, shit happens, but he should at least have say thank you publicly to Warren, explain why he left and give the man his due: He did a superb job with me, young prospects in England, if you negociate well *hint take a good lawyer and adviser* he'll get you gold and start yourself a good name. I think it would be a fair way to conclude that episode.
As Mickey Duff once said - If you want loyalty, get a dog.
I give Frank two weeks before he mentions Khan's china-chin will stop him against the best fighters.
