Very impressed with Valero man....
Just finished watching the fight from last night man. Although i don't know much about DeMarco, he really did just batter him into submission. I saw in Valero though that when called upon he has alot more to him than just fury. he's got some great movement and unbelievable combination punching, very accurate and controlled. His defense wasn't amazing but much much better than i've seen from him before. He moved very well and even used his shoulder to block punches on a couple of occasions.
Any one else like what they saw? I'd say that he's in a good position to clean up the division to be honest, with Funeka being his toughest fight......

yea i agree, he took his time and put his punches together, Demarco has good punching power and Valero showed that his chin can hold up, IMO Soto would get horribly smashed if his fight with Valero was ever to go on, Katsidis should be a fun fight but Valero will stop him

I was also very impressed by his handspeed, I don't think he usually puts on display unless he is throwing combinations, but even with individual punches I think he really demonstrated extremely fast hands.
He reminded me of a uglier stylistic version of Pacquiao in many ways.

I was very impressed with him too. Looks like I underrated his boxing skills. he's the best at 135 now imo.

i also think he's the best lightweight out there and was extremely impressed with his handspeed, defense, power etc...the guy can fight. he took demarco to school and beat him up like the school bully taking somebody's lunch money. demarco didn't know what hit him and didn't know what to do with all that speed, movement and relentlessness. i think demarco will be back and he can someday be a world champion but last night belonged to valero, who i terribly underestimated as a boxer and fighter.
