Well apparently the "Atomic Bull" got popped for coke....again. You have to wonder if that dude is ever going to get his shit together. He's 44 been in trouble off and on throughout his life and there's no damn reason he shouldn't be leading a good life seeing how successful his career has been. Sure he's more of a journeyman than anything but he's had big fights and had he not been in trouble he would have had a lot more.

You know, I saw him on "Shaq Vs." and I thought the guy seemed wayyyyy too excited to be there. He was sparring with Shaq for his upcoming fight with De La Hoya and Shaq just seemed like he was thinking, "Hey, this guy does know this isn't for real, right?" McCall just seemed reeeeeeeeally excited to be there. Like a dog when his master comes home after a long day.
Damn well this sucks. I always liked Oliver McCall. He's a real tough bastard.
And yeah I saw the Shaq thing too, and I didn't notice that he was coked up or anything, maybe just a lil star struck by Shaq. lol
They went at it hard though in the sparring, their sparring was better than the actual "fight' with Oscar.

Yeah McCall is a disappointment...the guy has talent, good skill, good power and very good chin but he has let his outside life ruin his boxing career at his age it is too late to be the next Foreman...sure he will fight undercards and maybe headline little shows but other then that...
He could have been something special in the ring....

Just seen that his son lost for the first time too.
McCall is a real sad story really. I think he is clearly lacking upstairs but had he stayed away from drugs and the likes he could have been special, I once read that he used to spar with a young Tyson and knock him all over. Don't know how true it is but he certainly had potential to be far greater than he ended up.
