If you watch it again it's not his chin that is the problem, looks like his stamina let him down similar to the Andrade fight, I have no doubt the right that stopped him there would of been taken much better earlier in the fight, but he looked fucked there any thoughts?? I haven't seen many Bute fights but is stamina an issue for him in later rounds against better fighters?

He has had stamina issues down the stretch but I don't think that played as mucha factor in this as just getting caught bad.
That shot made me gasp even though I was expecing a decent right-hand. I reckon it was good enough to floor many a fighter
We all saw him get stopped in the pros too, when Andrade knocked he out. (even though he was officially saved by his tag-team partner, Marlon Wright).

I don't think Bute has stamina issues. Going twelve rounds with top level competition isn't easy and he has done it and been successful before - he went twelve rounds with Bika and dominated him on the cards.
No i don't think his stamina is really an issue, he come on against Sakio Bika in the later rounds. Who is the same type of pressure fighter as Librado Andrade, he also stopped Alejandro Berrio brutally in the 11th round to win the title. He also battered William Joppy stopping him in the 10th round.Quote:
