Kevin Johnson the biggest retard in boxing??

Wow this guy is unreal read his latest comments:

Press Release: Many of my fans have been wondering where I’ve been since my fight against Vitali Klitschko, so I just want to let them know that the Kingpin is back and looking to conqueror the heavyweight division in 2010. First off, most of you don’t realize that I suffered a torn bicep in the 2nr round of my fight against Vitali and still I was able to go the distance with a man who has stopped almost everyone that he’s been in there against. I make no excuses, my fight against Vitali wasn’t my best performance but I think that I showed that I belonged in the ring fighting for the world title. Vitali never layed hand on me, while I was able to bust him open. If I was at my best that night, who knows what might have happened?"



Since getting cleared to get back in the ring by my doctor last month, I’ve gotten back in the gym with a new training team to get myself back in tip top shape and I can’t wait to show the world that I am still at the top of the heavyweight division. I’ll be back in the ring at the end of this month and I am looking for the toughest opponent that I can find. No tune-ups or bums for me. So to Alexander Povetkin, Odlanier Solis, David Haye, Sam Peters and all of the other contenders, when you guys are through fighting bums from the bottom of the barrel, I’ll be waiting to sweep you all out of the division. Kingpin Kevin Johnson

First off who are his fans? Where can I find these people?

I didn't realize a torn bicep would cause you to lay up on the ropes and nod your head a lot.

Johnson, can beat a lot of b-level fighters still, so he is still semi-relevant to the division. But yeah, have yet to hear from any of his fans?

After reading Johnson's statement I don't think the thread title needs the question marks.

There's not a heavyweight out there who can beat Vitali. I don't know what all these B level guys are drinking when they talk delusional about beating Vitali.

No I watched his fight against Vitali Klitschko...he did better than most opponents....he hit Vitali more than most opponents and showed on occasion some classy punches....so I would hold judgement on Johnson until I see him fight more....he could easly be one of the ones to watch in the future....or maybe not...lol

Man....... Kevin "Safety Pin" Johnson can talk some shit. He needs to spend some time in the gym learning how to throw punches before he gets back in or get some tips from Eminem about "How not to choke"....

This post has really just cheered me up. The guy is totally off his rocker, the most entertaining thing i've ever seen or read that involves Johnson!

There is nothing worse in a boxing match then when one guy is just trying to go the distance and has no desire to win.

Ok. I'm going play devil's advocate since everyone else wants to hate on Johnson.

So Kevin Johnson, a name many people did not even know before the fight with Vitali, comes in without the proper experience level, and tries to fight Vitali. Everyone who knew boxing, knew he didn't have the fights under his belt to warrant a fight with Vitali.

Then when Johnson goes in there and chooses not to get KO'd, then everyone wants to hate on him.

Now lets be logical about this: lacking experience and lacking power, what other option would Johnson have then to either get KO'd or try not to get KO'd? So what he tried not to get KO'd? He was not going to outbox or KO Vitali. EVERYONE knows this and yet everyone wants to jump on the hate johnson bandwagon. Who decided to throw Johnson in with Vitali anyway? I mean seriously. Maybe Johnson was just supposed to be another KO on Vitali's record or what?

And so now we have this message from his website. It's just Hype people. Who doesn't know that. Come on. It's Hype. What other choices does Johnson have? It's for publicity.

-If- you want to be logical about it all, obviously what should have happened was that Johnson should have fought some lower level names 1st. At least 3 or so before the fight with Vitali even came as a possibility. Then at least there would be more validity for the Johnson hating. But as it stands,
